"Grammar school and centrally locates. We have a great breakfast place. A pizza parlor that sits right on the river. Boat launch a mile down the road. Bay is a mile away, with a boat launch, camp grounds walking paths and camping for people with hires. Manzanita is 2 miles up and has some good restaurants and coffee shops, along with a bank, gas station and 2 grocery stores."

"I moved to Nehalem in May if 2015. I made a great connection with a variety of people from Calvary Bible Church. Joined the sewing circle and have the best time. I’m leaving Nehalem to help my elderly mother who lives in another state. If my Mom didn’t need assistance I’d be here forever."
  • Elkseraph L.
"I have lived in the Tri-Village area for nearly six years and haven't needed a vacation since I got here. This quiet, little area is beautiful. It's like living in a postcard. The people are friendly and helpful. The area needs more businesses, but you can get everything you need."
  • Susan T.
"Just north of the beach town of Manzanita is an area of homes called Neahkahnie, nestled at the foot of majestic Neahkahnie Mountain. Sharing the same long long sandy beach with Manzanita, residents of Neahkahnie enjoy beautiful coastline views, great beach access, and all the amenities of nearby Manzanita. "
  • Karen S.
"This neighborhood is quiet and safe. The neighbors are very friendly. The streets are great for walking and bike riding. It is a very short walk to Nehalem Bay where you can spot eagles, herons and occasionally elk. It is close to restaurants, shops, fishing, crabbing, hiking and beach combing. "
