8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two teenagers attending Santa Teresa High School, and I can honestly say I've been very pleased with their school experience. It’s a great school overall, with a diverse student body, is a well-maintained campus, and while there is a noticeable pressure to maintain strong grades, it seems to motivate the students if anything to keep up with their peers. Like with anything in life you have to pay your dues, and being in high school is no different. If you study and put in the work your grades will reflect that. Students with failing grades may not be fully utilizing their resources correctly or are in need of some type of special education accommodation. From what I see many of the students at S T consistently perform well academically. I’ll admit that the homework load can be somewhat heavy, sometimes comparable to what I experienced in college, but it’s all part of preparing them for what is to come in the future. The guidance counselors are very friendly and knowledgeable. Any time I emailed their counselor she replied really quickly and was always happy to help. Both my teens are excelling in school and have great grades. Looking back, I’m really glad we decided to move to the blossom valley neighborhood and invest in the home, as the education they’ve received has been absolutely worth it. Initially, I considered sending them to Valley Christian, but after hearing so many positive stories from other parents whose kids had gone to Santa Teresa, I felt confident in my decision. Santa Teresa High School has set up my kids for success, so I highly recommend it. The neighborhood its located in is very nice too with a beautiful view of the hills. :O)Parent Review1y ago15 Reviews - Check out schools near Cottle Rd.

"I lived in Willow Glen for 19 years, I also was raised in this area and went to the school’s here. It has been a great privilege being able to be around the community. It offers some great places and opportunities for single, families, and friends to share a meaningful connection conversations, making new friends, having meals, dancing on the avenue, music, crafts, biking, baking and so very much more all in one place, Christmas is the best time of the year, especially when you’re neighbors go all out and decorate the whole community, and people from all over come to see all the lights and decorations and the ambiance of the city (Willow Glen)within a city . It’s a beautiful and unique place, when you get a chance you have to come and see all the things going on in the neighborhood that I have always enjoyed. Be Blessed and Enjoy your time here!"

"It’s a great community but there’s a lot to do still to make it better . I think the city should provide a small subsidy to beautify the neighborhood eg. front yards and also enforce removal of junk from those houses that don’t do a good job to upkeep their curb appeal! "
