4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo help with iep/504. Teachers abusive in many ways. Principal doesnt fix anything. Calls my child a liar. I've called the board of education more times in 2 years then i have in 10 years of having kids in school. Don't send you precious children to this school!Parent Review2mo ago3 Reviews - East Community Learning Center

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, my experience with East CLC left me concerned about how bullying situations were handled. While the school promotes a commitment to student safety, reports of bullying involving my child did not appear to receive consistent follow-up or resolution. As a result, my child did not feel adequately protected.During meetings with administration, my child felt uncomfortable and discouraged from fully sharing their experience, which made it difficult to address the situation effectively. This created added stress for both my child and our family during an already challenging time.Additionally, there was a lack of clarity regarding whether bullying incidents were formally documented and submitted according to school district procedures. Without clear documentation or accountability, the issues continued without meaningful improvement.East CLC may be a good fit for some families, but from a parent’s perspective, there is a need for stronger communication, transparency, and consistent enforcement of anti-bullying policies to ensure students truly feel safe and supported.Parent Review7mo ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near Corice St.

"They would like that there’s many other dogs in the neighborhood so they’ll have someone to play with and there’s many parks so they’ll can take their dogs for walks "

"Not safe, you hear gunshots every day every night. My friend lived there for one year but she couldn’t stand it. She moved right after the lease is over. "

"I guess its nice that there are state parks in the area where you could take your dogs to spend some quiet time, go on walks, and get some fresh air. The East side is my preferred part of Akron; However, having said that, just be careful that you pay close attention to which part of East Akron you are in— If you end up in the wrong area, you may be looking at a situation where you'd want to keep a closer eye on your dog, for example. Also, keep in mind, Akron isn't very rural, so you'll have plenty of somewhat busy, to very busy streets all around you... If you've got a dog that likes to get loose, you may want to take precautions to avoid any dangerous accidents."

"We keep watch, nothing doesn’t get unnoticed, it’s a kid and pet friendly neighborhood, always looking out for the safety of all kids playing, and pets safety during the hot and cold weather season . Neighbors very friendly and very honest, they’ll tell it to you straight, if something is of concern."

"I am afraid to go down town , there is too much closed roads. Much rather take the back roads, and avoid going through town."

"Everyone seems to have dogs in the neighborhood but a lot of them do not maintain them well. Some people mistreat them by leaving them out on chains all hours of the day or not cleaning up after them as they should"
