This school has a serious history with teachers being mean or too rough towards students especially the younger ones and the disabled children. There are a few good teachers at this school but MANY who should not be working with children. The principal sweeps it under the rug with fake smiles and fake attempts to make nice. I would never recommend this school to anyone.

"Close to shops and restaurants. Edisto Gardens is beautiful in the spring and decorative at Christmas time. The colleges are in a safe area and in walking distance to stores."

"Orangeburg is a very retirement friendly city. It has two major colleges so homecomings are always very packed and crowded. The Festival of Roses also brings a huge crowd to the area. Other than that, Orangeburg is a quiet, well populated city with a variety of ethnicities. The one thing it lacks is a variety of entertainment. No movie theater and not enough big eateries. Too many fast food joints and Dollar Generals"

"The city lacks diversity in its people and entertainment. You have to travel 45+ miles for entertainment and dining other than fast foods. "

"Every year we have the Rose festival. During Christmas the city display lights for the kids. I live on the street that the 5k run/walk are held and it is lovely for me and my kids to see the people."

"My neighborhood is the country where you need a car to get to the closest grocery shop. At night it is very dark roads and deer come out to play. Don’t like we’re I live but I am just waiting to find a job in other areas."
