6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEverything about Conewago Elementary is outstanding. Teachers engage with students in a fun, efficient, and effective way and do their best to help students aim for greatness. Teachers accommodate extra time for students in need in a subject. Students are friendly around other students. The sports programs are available and encouraged, to grow and showcase individual talents and the community shows their support by watching at games, cheering for our team, and going on social media to express their support. For students and teachers, the district provides the latest technology (Chromebooks, TVs, Tablets, and paper) and resources for proper and great teaching and Parents are able to participate in the PTO. Northeastern School District itself provides healthy food for students and teachers for breakfast and lunch along with food for most extracurricular programs, also the Northeastern Food Bank for families. Conewago Elementary School is a great place to be.Parent Review7y ago5 Reviews - Northeastern Senior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA newly built school in the district. As a student from Northeastern Middle School, I would say that this middle school is one of the middle schools in the surrounding counties. This school strives to make students better academically and physically overall for high school and college readiness. There are many clubs and activities available). Parents around the district are involved in many events and PTO. Northeastern Middle School takes safety VERY seriously. The administration is very nice and respecting and strive to make our school district better. The teachers are top-notch and teach to the best they can. Their facilities, such as the pool and gyms, are clean and modern. There are many resources the school use to learn many subjects and tasks. The food is very selective in Middle school. Northeastern Middle School students and staff are friendly and are very diverse. In all, Northeastern Middle School is one of the best middle schools in the state and surrounding counties.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - Shallow Brook Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAn amazing school. Great architecture. The library view is amazing and huge inside. The cafeteria is very modern. The gym is very nice and has many equipment. The play area is average, but we still have good equipment (balls, jump ropes, and other things). The classrooms are amazing and the teachers are very nice. They are positive and teaches you many subjects you will need in the future, with of course, some fun. Overall, a great place to school.Parent Review7y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Copenhaffer Rd.

"There is a dog park in the city and access to the rail trail can take dog walkers for miles. Some rentals don’t allow pets, unfortunately. "

"Easy access to grocery store. Close to main Highways. People keep to themselves in this area. Parking in the street sometimes is challenging since there are not enough parking and too many cars. Police comes around not quite often. Some kids in the area but it’s mostly adults living in this area. And I can’t think of anything else. Too many rooms for rent in the area that could attract not too good people. "

"I don’t like it very much. A lot of jobs are outside of the city and I wouldn’t want them in the city limit necessarily. I don’t like the factories that we do have in the city limits. But just outside the city limits would be nice. And our highways and roads are and have been in terrible conditions for a long time with only the best of neighborhoods getting a level and complete repaving. "

"I have lived here for 16 years and my husband has lived in this area bud whole life except for a few years when younger. We both love the area but quite frankly loathe the WY school district. So much so that it is the reason we are looking for a new home "

"It has its moments but for the most part I would say this isn’t the best place for people looking to settle down unless you live on the outskirts of town in town maybe not so much it’s nice to visit when they have events and stuff but I wouldn’t say living in town for a LONG/ Extended period of time is best for anyone looking to settle down and relax and just live Theo best life and I’ve been living here for 23yr granted that’s how old I am but me and my husband are definitely moving away!!!"

"High traffic areas need to keep young kids away. Street parking can be difficult to get specially on weekends. People don’t pickup after their dogs. Not sure about local schools since my kids are all grown up. But I hear schools are ok in this area"

"There is a lot of drug dealing amongst other things. Plus no one takes pride in keep the street/side walks clean . You can sweep and in less than 24 hours there is candy papers, soda bottles and cans and broken corona bottles. This is not a friendly neighborhood. People steal from your yard . "
