Port Townsend is a Victorian town that shares delightful qualities and cultural advantages that are present in San Francisco on a much slower paced and easily accessible scale. This area is in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains and has a wonderful climate. There is access to a community beach, RV storage lot and a grand view highlands trail. Prior to any development there, I purchased the first lot about 37 years ago. The other two were added about 33 years ago with the unrealized intention to live well situated within these wonderful surroundings near Port Townsend The feng shui is excellent in that the corner lot sits on the desirable inside of the road bend, all of the lots are some distance from the county road and are with views to the southwest making them well suited for passive solar. Also, being thus gently inclined, they are optimal for gardeners in this cool but often sunny climate.
They are the highlighted lots on the subdivision map and lots 977-100-513, 977-100-514 and 977-100-504 as shown on the topographical GIS maps. The area topo shows 5 ft contours and the lots topo shows 2 ft contours. The road bend lot is 130 feet on the back edge and the rectangular lots are about 70x120. Access is flat across the top of all three lots with culvert installed in northwest corner. There are two paid for water taps. Lot 504 has a two bedroom installed septic leach field which grandfathers it for current lot area requirements. However, it will have to be modified with new pressurized distribution lines and specified back-fill. Similarly Lots 513 has a leach field installed for three bedrooms Similarly Lot 513 has a leach field installed for three bedrooms with reserve area on bottom of Lot 514. Otherwise, the presiding sanitarian has reportedly said that many bedrooms can be supported in a flexible manner as it perks well. CC&Rs are available at the Ocean Grove Association website.
