6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI definitely wouldn't recommend this school. We've had nothing but a negative and frustrating experience since I first enrolled my child. The current principal and some staff lack responsiveness, tend to gaslight and scapegoat, discriminate and ignore simple requests. They come off as very arrogant as though they have a right forgetting where their paycheck comes from and do not take responsibiity for their actions or the lack thereof. There are many safety concerns and do not be surprised if your child comes home with unexplained injuries or they lie about how they got them. It's all about protecting and covering themselves and they don't seem to genuinely care about the kids. During a visit to the school, we actually witnessed children coming into the office who physically fought and jumped another child and they sent them right back out to the classroom; no calling the parents or ensuring the situation was properly resolved. The office staff even blamed the child who'd gotten assaulted more than likely promoting bullying! The teachers tend to play favorites, pointing out and commending the work of only certain children they deem most capable instead of motivating and cultivating a positive atmosphere of social and emotional support equally for all students. If your child requires IEP services don't be surprised if they ask for the opportunity to bill Medicaid and then ghost you after you agree or fail to actually initiate the services. They don't care about your child, only getting paid. It's been beyond a month after simply asking if they initiated the services they recommended for my child because his teacher actually told me they hadn't started, to which they still haven't respond. I wouldn't recommend agreeing to have them bill Medicaid for money they actually don't deserve; as taxpayers we've already paid enough and they get enough per student every year. There are some bright spots of this school but the negative ones seem to be far outweighing them. Unfortunately this is the assigned school in our district and we don't even live in this city! Would definitely recommend comparing to other schools before settling for this one.Parent Review4mo ago34 Reviews - Warner Upper Elementary School

"I call my home my fake up north. I’m on a river and a stream. More wildlife out my back door than anything up north. Deer, fox, turkeys etc. It’s a great place. "
