"Downtown has events pretty often, though I’ve never attended. This is also the kickoff point for the AuSable Canoe marathon, town is packed for this event and the downtown area is closed off the whole weekend to traffic for the festivities. "

"It’s a friendly atmosphere and lots of family events. A very active little town with lots of outdoor things to do and small to big events each month. We’ve enjoyed living here."

"A lot of people walk the neighborhood with there dogs or kids. People are friendly and invite each other to bonfires or are willing to let your dog out if something comes up. Trustworthy and let a neighbor borrow something or help out with yard work. "
