Artisanal bakers, goat cheese makers, Battenkill Ice Cream, great home-grown beef, pork, chicken, eggs, raw milk, every veggie imaginable from local growers, apple orchards and so much more! Artists hold Open Studio Days, farmers host Farm Tours."

"I lived here for 9 yrs and absolutely loved it. Very easy to get involved with the school if you have kids. Small school with great teachers in a country setting. Very community oriented with lots of churches for everyone, annual Balloon Festival, quaint family run stores/farm stores for fresh veggies/flowers. Easy driving distance to Saratoga Springs/horse/track, Lake George, Albany, Vermont, etc..go do anything and come back to the quiet."
