"I have lived in Terre Du Lac for 10 years. The neighbors are friendly and also private. There is a lot to do in the TDL community. The fire and police forces are excellent. Bonne Terre is just 5 miles down the road, for shopping and dining. If you like to walk, swim, boat, fish, golf, dine, join clubs, then Terre Du Lac is perfect. My son excelled in the West County school district. The bus picks up the children promptly and safely. There are alot of wooded areas, so you see alot of wildlife. Deer, foxes, squirrels, rabbits, possum, red and blue birds, geese and ducks live here to! Everyone keeps their lawns manicured, and the gardens are a sight to see."
