The choir teacher there is awful and they teaching is okay

Burton elementary has improved tremendously over the past year. Attention is being given to the maintenance and upkeep of the school and it’s grounds now and the school is getting back to being the hub of the community and getting students and parents involved again. It is such a terrific turn-around thanks to the new leadership at the school, mainly the new Principal.

As with any school, parental involvement is key! All high schools have issues, some hide it better than others. There are a lot if positive things happening at HHS on a daily basis. To those considering HHS , I recommend enrolling your kids in advanced level classes, have them acti ely involved in campus clubs/organizations, and parents get actively involved in PTO, and develop a collaborative relationship with teachers.
