"Very safe neighborhood, great schools. "
  • Tony G.
"It’s average, takes about 20 to 30 minutes from home to work. Leave before 7AM and beat all the school traffic "
  • Tony G.
"Great neighbors and quiet streets, great to take kids on bike rides and walks around the neighborhood."
  • Katie R.
"The homes are over priced and too close together. Crime rate is rising and there is zero flat land. If you’d like to live on the edge of a cliff in a house that was built in 3 months, this is the town for you! "
  • Katie R.
"Loose dogs and no one picks up after them. Barking all night, left outside. Backyards aren’t big enough to accommodate dogs. "
  • Chalica P.
"there are so many children for my children to play with. there are all ages. some families are military and some work for school."
  • Angelique H.
"It can get a little congested between the school zones and the military bases, but once you’re past all of that, it’s usually smooth sailing. "
  • Aisha J.
"Growing area but still has the hometown feel. Lived here for a year and want to put down roots and stay for many years to come."
  • Kdsalesservice
"I don’t live here. My in laws live here. The neighbors are nice and the rent is fair. Nice apt. Not well maintained neighborhood. "
  • Ichigo.tru14
"There’s dogs all over. Some streets aren’t as well-lit at night so it’s best to bring someone else or perhaps a flashlight with you on night walks. The park has a nice dog park. It is for all-sized dogs."
  • Hisermelissa94
"It’s a beautiful place, I drive all the way from fountain to Pueblo. There is a lot of schools though. School traffic is a bit crazy. "
  • S. N. J.
"I’ve lived in Fountain since 2016 and have had nothing but positive experiences. The Police and Fire Dept are on point! There’s plenty of places to shop and eat as well as trails and parks to get in some exercise. I don’t plan on leaving Fountain any time soon. The people here are nice and helpful the kids play outside on a regular basis, and downtown has a lot of activities for families to participate in and also the schools are amazing "
  • Louis A.
"the neighbors are great and everyone gets along. Great neighborhood to raise a family, we look forward to the future events."
  • Mztumari
"It’s predominately a military community consisting of veterans, retirees and active duty. There are lots of children and the subdivision is pet friendly! "
  • Mztumari
"Neighbors look out for other’s pets around here if they go missing! They have a website set up where you can showcase your pet. This is a very dog friendly neighborhood. "
  • Renee T.
"People walking dogs all the time, sometimes without leash. Dog droppings everywhere. Other pet owners have been friendly while passing."
  • meredith j
"we have parades for July 4th, and in the fall. feels like a small town sometimes. there are parks nearby, military bases, shopping, and really nice restaurants."
  • Borealdragonfly
"it is an ok neighborhood close to shopping and main roads. There is one home that is an issue. The county is still working on getting residential concerns addressed in regards to it."
  • Mztumari
"I have been in this subdivision for almost 11 years. Military community that looks out for one another! "
  • Nakia J.
"Not enough pet waste stations set up for use. Can’t walk off leash or train in public areas. There’s quite a few dark areas."
  • David R.
"There are many families who live in this neighborhood. Next to a school. Friendly, feel comfortable and relatively silent at night. "
  • Ashley M.
"There is no bus for elementary kids and there needs to be. Traffic light installed leaving the neighborhood. "
  • Mztumari
"Great place to raise a family! The crime rate is not as bad as the surrounding areas. The city is growing and yet it still maintains that small town feel. "
  • Allison D.
"I love the little ranches neighborhood, I grew up here and I recently moved back. It's a very quiet and laid back neighborhood good where all the neighbor's know eachother and we all help eachother out when we need it. Hands down the best neighborhood in the fountain area"
  • Shelly T.
"I don’t do the events because I can’t be outside for very long. But they have the high school right across the street. It is fun to take the kids to watch them play football or any sport really. The park is only a ten minute walk. "
  • Chels8689
