Munoz Elementary Administration is concentrated on their power to make things difficult for parents. We have our rights just as the administration has their rights. I requested a simple vaccine record from my daughter’s file because her new school requires the original. It is sad that I have to pay for a new record and pay for it to be notarized simply because they refused to cooperate. There was no other reason, then “I will not give it to you because I don’t have to”. The entire administration wasted their time to make sure they discussed this simple matter. I wish the same attention was given to every detail in actually protecting the kids. There are students who need extra attention and protection but the energy is spent on making a school transition a nightmare. It feels frustrating to be neglected in such a way, no support in the benefit of their previous student. Very spiteful, it’s a big power trip and I feel our parental rights are being violated. How do we have not have a say in who holds our children’s personal documents???

This school is ,no doubt, the best school in the valley ,but bullying is a big problem. Students tend to slack off and disrespect the teachers. They expect to pass but when the graduation date comes and they fail all they do is sob over the fact that they didn't pass. So stricter policies might be needed. -Submitted by a Student
