In being honest I would have to say that I am not happy at all with the manner the school is being run this school year. I can't speak for all children with disabilities but I speak for mine. It seems to me that children with said diagnosed disabilities just aren't getting the "special attention" or help they need. My personal feelings are that our " special children" seem to be a bother to the school and the quickest "fix" to the " problem" is to have them charged in an attempt to " get rid of them" . I don't care for feeling this way and honestly wish I didn't but speaking from personal experience I would have to call it how I see it. Why is there no special classroom for our special children? There are children at this school who are in 4th,5th,6th grade and up that could benefit from a special class with a teacher like Ms Lisa, but for the older children who , like the younger ones, also NEED the extra help. Just my opinion based off of my own personal experience.
