7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat new school. The teachers are always nice and respectful. My child loves the school and the new layout. It did move out of town next to the intermediate school, but Waunakee has done a good job making it accessible.Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Waunakee Intermediate School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a military family and we have lived here 2 and half years. Our son has been going to the high school for a few months now and I honestly have no complaints. It is a wonderful school and the teachers seem to be really great they have emailed and reached out a lot. Our kids do play sports so we met a lot of people that way and we volunteer too. My son has really enjoyed football here its his passion again which fizzles out from time to time but the freshmen's are undefeated right now. Clubs and sports have really had our kids open up here since we aren't from here. We do think that the town has complainers here but we really have really enjoyed the teachers and they do not give out too much homework and when our son actually does his homework and classwork his gets really good grades. They have also made the students feel very accepted in every way and a little too much i think they just care a lot and want to show it. The are a very proud town with tailgates and hang outs and events. Our kids don't want to leave and that makes us feel good that they have been so happy here. If there are any issues involving your kid they will call and let you know and they handle all the issues so we were happy about that as well. Overall we are really pleased with the school so get your kids involved! We never let income stop our kids from enjoying school and no one should so yes people make a lot of money from here but i think there are a lot of great people and programs here because of that. Have fun!Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Waunakee Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSports, sports, sports. I hear they're not even any good anymore though. I went to school here. If you have a big family name they sweep everything under the rug if your kid gets in trouble (even the un thinkable like s/a). Heck, you can buy your kids grades with bribes twords the school.. don't believe me? Look at the test scores & compare it to the kids actual progression. Bullying was rampid when I attended this school. The worst part about the bullying was the teachers were actually more cruel then the kids. But hey, if your a rich waunakeein into sports and want to cram that down your kids throat, by all means.Other Review4mo ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near Callaway Ct.

"We have 60 acres of HOA property with a dozen mowed paths which are great for dog walks. This neighborhood has low traffic volume"

"People in this area walk their dogs on leashes, they obey the rules and there are specific parks just for dogs not too far away. It’s a safe neighborhood for animals & people alike! "

"One of the few communities where the proximity to everything is convenient and kids can still ride a bike out and about or to a friends house for example. "

"People would love how friendly people are. Everyone talks to each other and even tells you if your dog has been barking so you can take care of it before calling police. "

"The nature conservancy. You can go out for walks in the conservancy and see wildlife while not living out in the country. Also the neighborhood is a very short commute to downtown Madison. "
