The Best School To Recommend To People Moving To This District. It was a great school for me to go to!!

My student loves it here. We used to be in the Cedar Rapids school district and moved to the Prairie district intentionally. It is a great school with great teachers.

Communication from the district is great. Lots of opportunities to get involved and teachers are very accessible and caring.

Amazing experience for my children... The staff are personally invested in the success of each student.. Even after graduation. Love the view!

Wonderful teachers who care about the children; we feel very lucky to have such a great school!

Rude office ladies. Every time I call it’s like I’m an inconvenience. The attendance lady is a nightmare. The guidance counselor secretary might be worse. My son hates going into there. Whether it be for a new lunch card or if he’s feeling ill. He avoids the place like it’s a plague. You’d think they would hire ppl to work in there who idk don’t mind talking to ppl and don’t treat them like shhit. People who like being around kids all day. But what do I know. The principal is new and im convinced he has no clue what he’s doing. The principal last year was there for awhile and was great while my daughter was there. Teachers have been great. Which that’s most important. Just wish the administration could get there heads out of their rears.

This is one of the worst schools i have ever been too. The students are very disrespectful, they cuss at you when they get the chance and act immature for their age. They don’t have any manners, so much so that they don’t just bump into you sometimes, they shove you. There is always some sort of drama, the worst part is i was bullied here, during my first year. I was called fat, and instead of other kids helping, they joined the bullying. I told a teacher and all they did was “talk” to the bullies. Kids never get punished, only for random things, in my entire year there, Only once a kid was suspended, for a day. This kid was literally throwing chairs at the class windows and was trying to stab us with broken pieces of plastic. One day is absurd. Teachers teach you pretty good, besides from the fact they make you sit on your computers most of the time. You have to always be on your computers, the teacher just has to give instructions and boom! Done teaching. The staff, excluding teachers, are rude. They give prettu robotic responses to a misbehaving student like “You need to be in class.” Like thats gonna help. This review is work in progress
