5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of the teachers here are rude. They will call you Rude names, and even give you detention for sneezing. I got a detention for being late ONCE in the first week of school and the male students In the school harass us females. It got to the point i didn't even want to wake up to go to school. I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL.Student Review3y ago4 Reviews - Prospect Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children attend this school. First, each for two years of preschool (provided through TCESC), now in 1st and 2nd grades. Many teachers are Girard graduates and can appear quite clique-y at first, but are truly nice people who do a great job for students. The pandemic has revealed some of the best and worst in some teachers, but, overall, I am happy with the way things have been handled.Administration seems competent and does a good job keeping parents up to date with what is happening. We receive an “all call” every Sunday at 6 pm about the upcoming week and additional calls as necessary. In addition to these things, there are literacy and stem nights, a VERY active PTO presence, and staff that is kind and caring.Parent Review5y ago1 Reviews - Girard Intermediate Middle School

"I see people walking their dogs all the time, and Millcreek park is very nearby. The yards in this area are a little bigger as well. There is a good amount of traffic on some of the more used streets, and people like to set off fireworks around the holidays. "

"Heroin and crack addicts and dealers are running down what used to be a nice neighborhood. People fly off of 680 doing 60 mph in a 25 on Cooper. People throw trash out of their car windows and leave dogs out to get hit. Maybe people should take more pride in the appearance of their home. It’s sad that the few houses who do clean up their yard and maintain their home have to be embarrassed of their neighborhood. "
