I visited this school in October of 2023 to speak to RCHS students! (Specifically on mental health, resilience, and healthy relationships). The organizers were so welcoming and the message was so well-received by the students. I was impressed by how well this school seemed to understand their students' needs, as well as their investment to provide resources to support their students' mental health. These "beyond academic" supports are what make a school strong, and I would be honored to return to speak again.

The principal is enthusiastic and knows each child. The teachers are dedicated, hard-working, and kind. We love this place, and have 1 child who went K-5 there and another still attending. Cafeteria lunch is even edible! Some will tell you that you might prefer city schools, but don't be fooled into paying tuition to city schools when you have this top-flight option in the county. Beautiful, remodeled facility that looks modern, open, and inviting. Half of the rooms have gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
