    "I'm retired, but there is a public transport system of sorts for those who need it. Most commutes are short and no traffic except the occasional train crossing. This town is a major railroad hub and train horns sound at all hours, but i like that. "

Lots of children and families spend time outside, so if you get to know your neighbors, you have a community of people who know you and can help each other.
