2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad a lot of respect for this teachers and school .UNTIL THEY Sent my 4 year old daughter was sent home without pants .The teacher blamed it on having 18 kids.My daughter had spent the entire wearing just a t shirt. They never called to let me know that she needed a change of clothing .Parent Review11y ago6 Reviews - Patrick Henry High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a freshman at PH and I love it. I was expecting a lot of stereotypes because of the contrast of the economic situations of some students. But it is not like that at PH. There is some of that but not enough to make it horrible. The classes are majorly set up well. The only thing I can say bad about that is, if your student is advanced in the foreign languages, they will most likely have a lot of upperclassmen in their classes with them. All around, PH is awesome!Student Review14y ago1 Reviews - Stonewall Jackson Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m just a person looking in from the outside at the poor quality this school has every other day I hear a family member or friend of family mentioning something about this so called school in fact this is supposed to be a place where parents feel comfortable sending their children and our children excited to return Bullying should never be tolerated Educators should treat all students with dignity and respect and vice versa do not fail on the issues a parent brings up about their child if being a educator is what you signed up for then give it your best effort no more sweeping issues under the rug. Do better or give these students and parents a better resource if you can’t meet the requirements.Other Review3y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Brookside ln se.

"Avoid Garden City. I have lived in Roanoke all my life but will never live in GC again. Some roads are okay, but most of them are “drug roads,” you will hate your neighbors, and you will live around unleashed dogs who bark 24/7. Good luck"

"Would not recommend living here… Rental group is amazing but we had people trying to get into the house and lure us out on numerous occasions between midnight and 5am. We decided to move since we were expecting a child. If you don’t have kids I’d say a great place!"

"We need sidewalks in Roanoke county!! Cave spring for sure! Please give us somewhere to walk I have walked on the side of the road for years and had to walk in thorns I think it would help everyone and businesses could get more business with the ability for more people to access them. If people do not have cars sidewalks would be greatly appreciated."

"Lots of people walking dogs on leashes. No dogs allowed at the playground. There are no nearby dog parks within walking distance. Mill Mountain trails are great but watch out for mountain bikers. "

"You see people walking their dogs all the time. Neighbors will occasionally greet them with treats. Some apartment communities will have Doggy Swim Days the last pool day of the season. We love that day,and so do the dogs! ❤"
