6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageClaxton Elementary is an EXCEPTIONAL school! The teaching staff is amazing, they encompass compassion for every student and meet each student where they are at and transition them further to where they should be! I love how they provide so much care to each and every student of what their needs are and work with them individually if needed as opposed to just as a whole. I love that each member of the staff generally knows the parents' names and are not treated as just a number. Claxton exceeds any other school that I know of in their offerings of afterschool STEM clubs and create a hands-on learning environment each day with a multitude of STEAM related activities and programs to keep the kids engaged and interested in learning on top of the dreaded state curriculum. Claxton Elementary has WAY BEYOND EXCEEDED all expectations for our family!Parent Review6mo ago2 Reviews - Clinton Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei am a student here. I’m moving up and I’m super scared. I got bullied last year by people who I thought were my friends. She put corn in my hair and poured milk in me after she stole something from me and I tried to get it back. Teachers love humiliating students. Plenty of girls vaped I’m class and they never said anything. I asked a teacher about one of the girls and she said that she had seen her. This was nothing like the school I went to last year which was a 8/10 school. I don’t recommend this school at all. If you want your straight A student to turn into a failing student then go here.Student Review3y ago10 Reviews - Clinton High School

"Houses are older, but very well maintained houses and yards. Good size lots. Great mix of ages and other demographics live here. Neighbors out at night in the yards and waving. Reminds me of home long time ago. "

"I grew up in this neighborhood. Wish very much to move back. But at 64 yrs of age, not gonna happen. But, the lucky person to obtain this home will be very satisfied. Great neighborhood, great schools and very nice home. Wish you luck on your journey. Rambling Acres is a great place to live. And I'm sure the Landlord will be the same, Great"

"Sequoyah Hills is a fantastic neighborhood that dates from the 1930s. It was designed in a very forward-thinking way that makes living there possible for many demographics. On the other hand, a lot of tear-downs are happening, with normal houses being replaced by mansions. "

"My neighborhood is more like a family of community. Everybody works as one if one doesn’t have it. The other may have it. We just try to uplift each other to the best of our abilities because we believe that everybody deserves a second chance at life."

"If you’re a woman walking your dog/dogs alone no matter what time of day please be aware of surroundings. I was followed to my home by a man & he had to have ran because once I noticed him keeping pace behind me I started running. He actually knew where I lived already & beat me there because he was in my back yard area when I walked through the door and went to the back to lock it. Other than that sidewalks are good for the doggies. Too much fast moving traffic as well on the roads in residential areas. "

"The city as a whole has becoming increasingly “sketchy” throughout. It still has good parts but even those areas are not as good as what they were 8 years ago. I’d suggest doing some strong research."

"Walk to breweries, cute shops, good places to eat, and the last Sunday market. The local school for K-5 is special, great and place for young children. The park on the river offers a great playground and convenient place to put kayaks in the river."
