To start I am a grandparent raising 2 grandsons but before Grandchildren all 4 of my Children went to South Jackson and I feel it is a wonderful school. As a Grandparent who had 2 Grandsons going here I will State that to me the bullying could have been handled better but as for the Teachers and Most School Staff I encountered I would say a lot went above the standards. We moved so 1 grandson was unable to finish the last 2 years at South Jackson which I do miss ( except for the bullying). I t was always a clean, sterile school, The Teachers ( maybe 1 I clashed with) was always ready to speak with me. At the time they were doing a Grandparents meeting once a month which was very helpful and always offering information and help if needed. I would recommend South Jackson Elementary

"Need vehicle. Lots of activities 5-10 min. Away in commerce and Jefferson. 25 minutes to The classic center in Athens and just under an hour to Duluth. "
