3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son’s first year at Dover attending kindergarten. It was a pleasure to have Mrs.Anthony as his teacher. Her professionalism, patience, kindness and love to her students is outstanding. The principal is nice and helpful , when I had a concern about my sons learning it was easy to get his IEP going because he needs extra help. Both, The principal and Mrs.anthony made me feel confident that my son began to receive that extra help he needs. Office staff have always been welcoming and always assisting with a smile on their face. Ive never ran into any issue with the school or staff everything runs extremely smooth there. I am happy and satisfied with Dover Elementary and looking forward to the next few years my son will be attending here.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Mary Bird Early Childhood Education Center

"Great place to raise kids in a safe environment. All levels of schools are here which is good but also expect heavy traffic before and after school gets out."

"I no longer commute. I’m retired. I commuted 84 miles round trip to and from San Francisco most days for twenty years via motorcycle. 45 minutes each way. In a car it would have Ben 2 hours each way, and sometimes longer."

"Lot's of sports for kids and parks to get family out and together. Tons of kids in neighborhoods popping up and they all play in streets and courtyards together. Very spaced out so may need to shuttle them around a bit."

"Not sure if there is anything unique about Fairfield. The older homes are getting old but have more yard to move around in compared to newer homes that have no room whatsoever. But again, I don’t believe that it makes Fairfield unique "

"I wouldn’t stay in this neighborhood. There is too much gang and drug activity. Drive by shootings. Murders. Theft. Homeless. It’s a horrible area that gets neglected; which is sad considering the police department is only a mile away. "

"We love the farmers market, the dollar movie nights, the proximity to Napa and inexpensive wines, and the food truck Thursday’s at the park! Awesome elementary school (Cordelia Hills Elementary) as well! This school should be ranked much higher than 7/10 - it’s GREAT!"
