8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two daughters, who are now in 6th and 9th grade, attended Quail Run Elementary for their entire elementary school years. We are very thankful for the strong foundation they received here. One of the biggest highlights of the school is the Chinese language program, which is well-known in the neighboring community and has attracted many Chinese families to move into the area. The program is thoughtfully designed and well-supported, and the teachers in this program are especially responsible, caring, and dedicated to their students’ growth.Overall, the teachers and staff at Quail Run are professional and attentive. We always felt that our children were in a safe, welcoming, and academically supportive environment. The school fosters a positive culture where students are encouraged to thrive not just academically but also socially. We had a very positive experience at Quail Run, and I would highly recommend it to families looking for a strong academic program, a great Chinese immersion option, and a nurturing environment for their children.Parent Review7mo ago17 Reviews - Dougherty Valley High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAcademically competitive school. Students need to be self motivated to learn and work very hard to succeed. Those who don't typically don't have enough motivation to put in those extra hard work needed. This is a public school after all, teacher resources are limited like all other public schools, so if you need that extra attention, private school would be a better choice. Plenty of AP courses are being offered but again, self motivation and being resourceful is very important.Parent Review2y ago23 Reviews - Gale Ranch Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur eldest just graduated from this school, and it has been wonderful. Most schools in this are are great, but GRMS is a class apart. I wish I had the pleasure of attending such a school. The environment is very much like prestigious college, students are academically catered to very well, staff is courteous, caring and at the same time, ensuring there is discipline. Science, music, arts, language - everything is top notch. Their arts/music teachers are definitely international level professionals. Heading the kids play out in the bands, you cannot discern if this is a professional orchestra. It is amazing and it of this world to hear your young ones. Math and science, the favorite subjects in this area, are very will taught. So are history and other social sciences. Kids are very well aware, and I am generally impressed by how much the parent community is engaged on helping and uplifting each other (we have back channels where we regular exchange tips and tidbits that help the kiddos move forward). All in all, a fantastic school.Parent Review10mo ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near Beechtree Ln.

"Parents are very involved in their children’s school activities. They support PTSA events & school fundraisers. We arrive early for school plays, athletic events & volunteerism. We attend coffee & tea events with the principals & school administrators. We open our doors up for our children’s friends. When one of our kids “Fall” we come out in large #s to support the family. We are a Pro Family neighborhood & we speak to each other at the Safeway."
