in short, rancho was quite an interesting place to be. i made some solid memories with good friends, but it wasn’t worth the overall experience. I’d never wanna redo this again lol

The teachers Ive met were all pretty nice. I went to this school throughout my middle school year and the most common thing was bullying. Dont know if its the parents fault or the teachers but every time I defend a friend from harassment I get pulled to the office and even when filling a witness report, they don't do anything about it. My brother will be here next year and I'm worried if he will get into fights without correlation to the bully.

At first glance, the school is great -- clean, updated, well-maintained facilities; friendly, personable staff and happy students. However, I would invite anyone to delve deeper and see more of what goes on inside the doors of the classrooms, the deep discussions and meetings among staff, the countless back-and-forth emails and calls between teachers and parents. Anyone will be touched and impressed by how much heart, time, thinking, effort and teamwork goes into the nurturing of the children in Terra Vista. The admins, Mrs. Pollock and Mrs. Apodaca are very hands-on. Teachers keep in touch and are very accessible to the parents. Aides and proctors all work together in watching over and supporting each of the kids. They know each kid's name, and what works and what doesn't work with them. Their teams of counselors, etc, collaborate on an ongoing basis for the welfare of the children. Genuine care and passion for their jobs is most evident in the staff. Parents are kept in the know and involved. Children are relaxed in their environment, while being nurtured by the teachers, aides, proctors, counselors, etc. A lot of check and balances are implemented to ensure that nobody falls through the cracks. I have not seen any kid bullied nor treated unfairly in the years that I have been involved in this school. Even the kids frown upon bullying. Differences are respected and special needs are paid attention to. This school deserves special credit and we are very glad to be a part of it.
