      "Rio Linda / Elverta has a Country Fair, Little league parade, Christmas parade, a tractor fair, etc. "

      "Great place for all types of dogs. Most people have large lots and can accommodate a bigger dog. With that said there are many lost and doing dogs out this way, the outside dogs love to bark at the moon aka no reason in the middle of the nigh. "

      "Schools are ok. This is a rural area our neighbors have horses, chickens, cows and live stock. Beware people have worked on their classic cars here for years and sometimes it gets loud. Family oriented and many families have large gatherings on weekends sometimes with live music. Most streets are narrow, no most streets do not have sidewalks, and outdoor lighting is poor, especially on side streets. I like it, anyone moving in needs to know this is a rural area and life here is a lot different than other zip codes "

      "Very quit area.minor noise from passing cars elverta is a main road so a lot of cars. Over all peaceful haven’t heard of any crime. Down sides everything is a bit far and there are no side walks for kids to walk or ride bikes. So you have to drive to a park. "
