7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is by far the worst school in the Elk Grove District. The principal and vice principal will smile in your face but speak badly about you behind your back, with no real plan to help. The counselors gossip together instead of working to support students.Student fights are nothing compared to the disrespectful behavior and poor attitude of the administrative staff. Someone should investigate the school, its teachers, and its leadership. Parents, talk to your children daily and listen to their experiences. If you are privileged and the “right” color, you’ll have a completely different experience. It’s no surprise students behave the way they do when many of the teachers and staff set the same poor example. If I could give zero stars, I would. I recommend finding another school that values students and provides a better education. They need a serious secret audit. Perhaps a undercover high school adult.Parent Review8mo ago9 Reviews - Carroll Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had to withdraw my son because the teacher constantly ignored him. As a parent I’m leaving my child with you to teach and if you ignore a kinder child to the point where he cries about going to school, something is wrong. Children that age don’t lie about adults treating them bad.I saw it first hand multiple times but thought I was overreacting. Then it literally happened in front of my eyes, my son asked the teacher for help and she just said i don’t know I’m sorry. Then another child who wasn’t even looking for help walks by and she takes her to the same area my son was looking for his things and said, let me help you. I had to take my son to the table and ask the teacher if she could help us find his project. She told me I don’t know while meticulously helping the other student. Then when leaving I asked if I could talk to her and she made me stand there for almost 10 minutes just not saying anything. Other parents came through and she’d acknowledge them while I stood there waiting. Finally I had enough and I told my son we need to leave and it was at this point she looked up and said oh what is it? She did not care for me as a parent or my son. The saddest part is he’s an outgoing loving child who’s ahead of the curve. She just simply made a decision in her head that my son wasn’t important and treated him so.Parent Review3mo ago15 Reviews - Check out schools near Arona Ct.
