Description

Sunny, quiet, top floor in an owner-occupied home. Looking for up to (2) renters to live upstairs. Unfurnished. The home is modelled as a duplex with 2 full kitchens, 2 dishwashers, and 2 washing machines and dryers on each floor, respectively, so you will have total autonomy upstairs. Renter/s will have access to the front door and I have my own door for my floor. There is a full security system in the home equip with cameras (outdoors) for safety as the property is set back from the road. There will be a locked door separating both floors for privacy as the renter will be entitled to only the upstairs.

Convenient location as this home is approx. 10min away from Bradley Airport, grocery stores such as Stop n Shop and Price Chopper, and Windsor Center. River access for small boats/kayaks to launch as well as fish. Perfect yard for gatherings or outdoor events.

$2400/month plus utilities. The landlord (myself) will live in the finished basement. Renters will split the utility costs equally between themselves and the landlord (ie if there are 2 renters and 1 landlord, the utilities will be split 3 ways equally).
All yardwork will be done by the landlord; this includes lawn mowing, landscaping, and snow blowing/shoveling the driveway. No smoking. No pets. Use of either grill (paying for propane), adding plants and such to the garden, and use of additional outdoor utilities are conditional upon discussion with the landlord. Renters are entitled to (1) parking garage spot.

Landlord: I'm a guy in my early 30s looking to rent my whole upstairs. I'm looking for renters who would appreciate a nicer property and enjoy the view of the CT river. If you'd also just like a nice place to live, please apply! I'd consider myself a pretty easy going guy so feel free to reach out with questions. Texts only please.

Thanks,
Cam

"I have lived in Windsor for 5 years. It has been the perfect location! I work in downtown Hartford and I take the bus into the city from a commuter lot in my town. It’s a relaxing 15min ride into and out of Hartford and as close as I am to the capital, Windsor is cute with lots of farms and the small, quaint town feel I was looking for. I’m loving it!"

"Live in the harvest Lane neighborhood for the last 9 years. One of the best places to live in the state. A very sort after neighborhood to live. Took us a while to get a house, because no one moves from it. Unless they are retiring and moving to Florida. The trails that are connected off the street that leads to Northwest Park and the reservoir for hiking are incredible. The family atmosphere is that of an extended family. The kids, the parents even the pets all know each other. We can’t ask for more from such a tranquil place we live in with so much harmony and love. #HarvestLane4Life "
