5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children that attended Jones Elem 2017-2018 school year. I have 1 in the 2nd grade and his teacher was replaced 3/4 times my self nor my husband ever received any letter from the school explaining the changes. The last 6 months he had a substitute teacher and his grades never showed any difference from the 2nd 9 weeks in school. His report cards came home the exact same. He took several reading test throughout the year that said he was reading on his level than his last 1 showed his was reading above his level, but his "teacher" still had on his report card "Needs Improvement" that had been up there since his 2nd 9 weeks report card. No communication on what needed to be improved. Checked his backpack, nothing in his folders to help him improve anything. Now, my 4th grader had a teacher who when she asked for help the teacher paid more attention to the disruptive students then providing the help my child asked for. I have stayed in contact with this teacher for the last 6 months faithfully between emails and visits to the school. There was no prep for the EOG, she never came home with homework or study packets. There was no concern for any child in that class. This teacher was more worried about if she can add my child to snapchat. On top of it all, I have reached out to the Principle of the school and no response or any type of follow up. My children will not return to Jones Elem. I suggest yours don't eitherParent Review8y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 27 Farmwood Loop #L.
