6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school and its staff are great! Our kids are in the dual language program which is amazing. They are learning everything in both English and Spanish. The school has the diversity and inclusion that reflects the world. It is far from homogenous. I feel strongly that the ratings are misleading. This school and the school district as a whole is very well funded. Talk to any parent, student, or staff member and I am sure you will get a real understanding of the quality of this school.Parent Review4y ago10 Reviews - Ridgeway School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFacility is relatively old, but clean and well maintained. Very responsible teachers. The principal tries very hard to resolve conflicts among students and enforce safety disciplines. The curriculum is somewhat slow and class size is big. As a result, not enough attention is given to fast students to keep them engaged and motivated. Lunch is so-so quality.Parent Review11y ago6 Reviews - White Plains Senior High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go there, got bullied and I have a learning disability and I wouldnt recommend this school for someone who has an IEP, because its a very large crowded school. students are mean, and teachers rarely care or check in on students. if you have an iep is better to go to a special Ed school instead. administration is rude. if your from eastern Europe and your native language isnt English you would get bullied. not to mention I don't get why people highly rate this school. students escape often.Student Review9mo ago11 Reviews - Church Street School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEverything in on the first year was really hard for me and my child overall I'm happy to say that me and my child are extremely happy on how Everything worked out and the services that is being provided. My child loves going to school she loves her teacher and staff and looks forward to waking up and leaving on her bus. Thank you all so very much and a special thanks to her teacher for all that she did to make sure that my child has the proper education that fit her needs.Parent Review3y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 300 Main St #6D.

"The shopping areas of White Plains make it a worthwhile visit. Be sure to have a car or at least a bicycle handy, because the bus service isn't the most timely. "

"The schools are great. Neighbors are friendly and diverse. There is a lot of pride in White Plains. We have a Kindergartener, so last year we toured all the schools and all of them seemed great. Every parent I have spoken to has only had good things to say about their school regardless of which school their child goes to. The parks are great and they are continually updating them. Your child can swim all summer for close to free in either of the two city pools. The recreation department offers a lot of activities at very affordable prices."
