3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSpecial needs parent for multiple impaired child. The parking blows ... They don't accommodate the special need parents parking. Parking in a busy road is a safety hazard just to get to your kid is outrageous..Your principal doesn't address parent concerns ..he circles around if he isn't too busy in a meeting. They only person who seems to know what their doing is Sandy the front office Lady. Leave my regards for the immediate school districts . That's where we will be switching to. They shouldn't balance special ed with general education. P.S stop notifying parents about personal medical emergencies. No one needs to know who's wife has a medical incident. It's private. I don't wanna know who had a appendix repture in class and why paramedics show. ..not my business. Let me know if a shooter is in the school ....not in the neighborhood. Then I'll be concerned to be informed. The safety concerns are excessive.Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews - Wayne Memorial High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible if you love your child do not send them here. As a student Wayne memorial was horribly detrimental to my mental health. The staff do not truly care about the students, there’s drugs available everywhere, the lunch is horrible, bullying and fights are allowed to take place without any attempt of breaking it up. The school is so bad that extra precautions are taken try to limit the obscenities that occur like locking the bathrooms frequently causing students to pee on themselves at times and this method is very unnecessary considering the bathrooms still get hotboxed (bathroom is smoked up with drugs floating around) often. They portray a perfect image but that is not the truth of Wayne memorial. The school even was poor at one point and time. Kids have sexual intercourse in the school and nothing is being done about it.Student Review1y ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 4456 John Hix Rd.

"Very friendly people in the area. Well maintained lawn and properties. No problem with barking dogs, loud music or disrespectful people in the area. We felt safe when we lived there. I don’t know how it is now. "

"I enjoy the neighborhood I'm in because there is a nice variety of home styles. There seems to a lot of parks to walk in. The downtown struggles a bit because of big box stores and busy traffic but they are trying"

"Happy with my area of mixed style homes. Appears to have homes from 1000 sq ft up to 2800 or so in some of the larger homes. Not cookie cutter homes at all."
