" Commuting in DC is hell, traffic has gotten worse in the last 10 years and the only thing I love about here is safety."
  • Chantae C.
"This is a great place to raise kids, but it's impossible to afford. I would love to stay, but that's not feasible at this point in time."
  • Chantae C.
"I don't have kids, but if I had one I would definitely raise them here. Great school, great neighborhood. 10/10"
  • Miranda
"I've lived here for four years. The area is a mix of families, young professionals, and students. It's not a hot spot for nightlife, but there's enough selection of restaurants and a few bars, and everything you really need (like groceries, a pharmacy, etc.) is here. It's very green and walkable, with lots of trees, well-kept front yards, and parks. It makes a great base, as both Virginia and other areas of DC are easily accessible by bus or car. Meanwhile, Glover Park is free of the noise, crowds, and traffic of some of those other areas."
  • Jay F.
"Everyone has a dog, and it's very pet friendly. Just hope you don't live in a corner house. Everyone throws their poop bags in your garbage!"
  • Jay F.
"We have great elementary schools and safe streets. Kids can walk and play on their own."
  • Jay F.
"Commuting from Glover Park is fine until you hit the Beltway. You have to make it out of Glover Park to work anywhere."
  • Jay F.
"We have a great public school. Parents can save money by sending their kids to Stoddart."
  • Kristen C.
"There are a lot of dog parks and places you can take your pets that are animal friendly."
  • T. M.
"We have a huge dog community. There are always people walking their dogs and going to the many dog parks."
  • T. M.
"In our small, quaint neighborhood, we have everything we need from restaurants to bars to pharmacies."
  • Kristen C.
"The scenery is remarkable. The environment is pretty clean, and the neighbors are friendly."
  • Kristen C.
"Most commute by the Metro or bus. I sometimes use a taxi service."
  • T. M.
"We have very easy access to main streets like Wisconsin and Connecticut avenues. Plus, easy access to all the main highways."
  • Ali S.
"We are close to restaurants and bars, but the neighborhood also feels secluded. It's the best of both worlds."
  • Stanli m.
