"I live in Desert hot springs it very nice neighborhood & recently growing very fast,there are many schools such as elementary,middle school & high school there are a few major supermarkets & retailers,there is no hospital in the city but there are a few urgent care places & closest main hospital is about twenty minutes away which is in Palm Springs "

"We a lot of family events like food trucks every Friday we just recently had the Christmas lights parade the churches in the neighborhood also have a lot of family friendly events a few months ago churches and schools were giving away backpacks to the families that were in need so the kids would have all the school supplies they need for school one of the churches in the community also host food drive every Monday "

"There are a number of people who don’t pick up after their dogs. People with dogs off leash often, it is unsafe at times. Amazing views Stars!!!! Clean air, water, zero traffic Hiking!! Good People!!! Location Location Location Up & coming Desert life Why not "

"If you use public transit (the sunline bus) it takes a bit of time to get where you are going but if you’re in you’re won vehicle the commute is quick. After 5 the roads get pretty packed for a short time. "

"I have lived here my entire 23 years and it is not a pleasant place to live if you have kids or animals or expensive items in your home because of the everyday multi shootings or car accident and drugs that come into this town and neighborhood."

"It gets too hot in summer months to walk the dogs unless very early in the morning. Otherwise during these hottest summer months dog owners need to walk then later at night so their little paws don’t burn on the asphalt. We have good local animal vets, and grooming for their care. "

"I have lived in the area 4 years. I feel safe and like the area. Markets, parks, schools, banks, churches, post office and many other services are conveniently close by. People are friendly. Even a Kmart Rite Aid and Walgreens is close by. A new library is coming in next year by the park. "
