5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school caters to the poor Hispanic population. Even though I pay $10,000 a year in school taxes I will pay out of pocket for my kids to go to a nearby school. Please be warned this school is complete trash and will not provide your child with any of the tools needed to succeed in the current or future job market. They have a dress code that teaches your child not to take pride in their appearance and to not express themselves. Instead of investing in STEMS the high school has invested in a "culinary program" (short order cook) which means they can effectively teach your child to work in a fast food kitchen. A high school culinary program will not get your child a job at a reputable restaurant where they will be able to support themselves. They have lowered their academic standards to help pus through the ESL students, this is terrible.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - Norman Junior High School

Schooling:up until now the teachers I've had at Kaufman have been terrible but at O.P. they've recognized my potential and embraced it I hated school til I got here now I love it Band: it's so fun and the directors are wonderful Color guard : great Mrs.Evans created this program and we do well Athletics: getting into it is easy but playing a sport is hard they say they pick us do to performance well that's not true at all and I fell sorry for off season who have too work hard for nothing and can't play the sport they love and are good at and they endure get out of athletics speeches daily Honors classes: give good education but have harder material Clubs: mainly bass and chess both are great to be a part of Side notes: the people in this school are mainly baptist and first baptist control this school this school is a religious based school including prayer and bibles and not great for other Christian religions because if you don't attend first baptist you won't make a teamOther Review13y ago3 Reviews - Helen Edwards Early Childhood Center

"Terrell is absolutely horrible for the amount of stray dogs and cats, along with a huge number of people dumping their animals. As an animal lover, it absolutely breaks my heart. "

"Some neighborhoods in Terrell do not have sidewalks or are unkept and are in my opinion too unsafe for children to walk to school. It is also not uncommon to see stray dogs roaming the streets with the potential of them being aggressive. "

"Some dogs roam freely though there is high traffic and speeders through the neighborhood. City ordinances regarding registration and other requirements can be expensive and intrusive. Local vet clinics are the most inadequate and insensitive we have come in contact with."

"It's the arm pit of TX. No one lives here by choice. It's like quick sand. It sucks you in by force and pulls you under so you can never leave. The only positive is Jamie Fox grew up here."
