3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is awful. I was warned about this school being as bad as it is, and I figured I’d still give it a shot. Well I regret it. The principal takes NO action unless you actually go there, and the vice principal is no where to be found. My child has been bullied several times while getting sent home on suspension. The teachers just seem like they are to the point of “it’s not worth my time”. If you email them or try to contact the teachers about grades or missing work you will be ignored. We had a teacher that my child was showing “failing” come to find out, for almost the entire semester the teacher hadn’t input ANY of my child’s grades until literally the last day before the end of the grading period. So here I am, taking my child’s belongings away for failing, just to find out that the teacher was “failing” at inputting the grades… The entire school is a joke. It’s sad that we now have to pay a bunch of money for our children to get into a charter school due to the shortcomings of any public school system.Parent Review8mo ago18 Reviews - Blake High School

"Currently my commute is 25 to 40 minutes and I only live about 10 to 15 from my office building. There’s only one way in and one way out unfortunately. If you leave anywhere between 7:15 AM-8 AM, you will be met with heavy traffic, especially with kids in school and people commuting to work"

"My family & I have lived in Cory Lake Isles for two years, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. As a parent of young children, I place a high value on safety, community, and access to quality recreational amenities— Cory Lake Isles excels in all three areas. The sports and recreation facilities are exceptional. My children regularly enjoy the tennis courts, basketball court, hockey rink, soccer field, and the expansive lake, which offers both beauty and opportunities for family recreation. The pool, in particular, feels more like a Disney-quality resort than a neighborhood amenity. The neighborhood is well managed, secure, and continuously improving. We feel safe, welcomed, & confident raising our children here. Cory Lake Isles has exceeded our expectations and continues to prove itself as a premier place to live and raise a family."

"Traffic is bad around 3 pm and the rain but it is Florida. I think Pinellas County makes the Bay Area a great place. Not only the beaches but some of the best city’s in America are in Pinellas county. "

"Traffic is very bad and make sure there isn’t any games going. If there is add extra time for your commute. My 20minute drive turns into 1 hour if there is a lightening game going on. "
