However, that potential has not been fully realized in recent years.There has been significant teacher turnover, raising concerns about consistency and stability for students. In my experience, this appears to be connected to challenges in school leadership. I have found the administration, under Principal/Superintendent M. Tresham, to be lacking in support for both staff and parents.Communication and responsiveness to concerns have been limited, and there is a sense among some families and staff that raising issues is discouraged.As a result, the school no longer feels like the stable, highly regarded option it once was. I am a teacher and see a lot of the forest for the trees. I love the way the admin and staff honor the students and their work, offer unending support, and communicate with parents when needed.As part of the school site council, I get to see, and be a part of, the behind the scenes process.
