3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Brandon high school for my junior and senior year. It was the third high school I attended in my four years attending high school due to constant zoning change at first. I thought I wouldn't like it because if it's reputation, but I ended up finding a group in the club that I really connected with and ended up loving the school when I first attended there the fights were really bad and I didn't feel as safe as I did other schools, but once the principals changed to Mrs. Right, the dynamic of the school started to change and there were less fights I take high-level classes like AP and dual enrollment so the fact that they offered AP, AICE, and some dual enrollment classes. I really liked that.Student Review2w ago20 Reviews - Mann Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is awful. I was warned about this school being as bad as it is, and I figured I’d still give it a shot. Well I regret it. The principal takes NO action unless you actually go there, and the vice principal is no where to be found. My child has been bullied several times while getting sent home on suspension. The teachers just seem like they are to the point of “it’s not worth my time”. If you email them or try to contact the teachers about grades or missing work you will be ignored. We had a teacher that my child was showing “failing” come to find out, for almost the entire semester the teacher hadn’t input ANY of my child’s grades until literally the last day before the end of the grading period. So here I am, taking my child’s belongings away for failing, just to find out that the teacher was “failing” at inputting the grades… The entire school is a joke. It’s sad that we now have to pay a bunch of money for our children to get into a charter school due to the shortcomings of any public school system.Parent Review8mo ago18 Reviews - Seffner Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI sincerely and highly appreciate the teachers who have worked hard to help my child, but feel the overall policies at the school don’t address the special needs of high functioning autism. It’s like he falls through the cracks because he’s “too normal” for special needs classes, but “too different” for general Ed classes, and it’s frustrating.Parent Review6y ago18 Reviews - Check out schools near Sandhill Point Ln.

"Everyone has a dog and they walk them all the time. Great place for pets in general. There’s a dog park not too far away. You can hear them and they are friendly. I have two dogs and love the community. They even have doggy bags and garbage cans available on the walk ways. "

"What’s a wonderful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The HOA is definitely manageable and not a problem at all, and the cost is definitely reasonable. Most homes keep up their yards nicely."

"Very friendly neighborhood, folks look out for each other. The HOA is reasonable and I’ve lived here since 2001, with no plans to move. Most people keep up their yards but the only downside is that our HOA is unable to force people to upkeep their yards. Only a few are bad. No junk cars, or work vehicles parked . I like it here. "

"I lived in a gated retirement community, which is not reflective of Valrico in general. I know if you explore past I-60, you’ll encounter beautiful treed neighborhoods. I come back to Valrico ,from Tampa, for all services a:top notch and significantly less expensive - Such as Dentist, hair salons, etc. Due to the exploding population/traffic, unless you live near the expressway, it is not a quick commute to Tampa."
