6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended this school since her first grade year, and this year, her fourth grade year, will be her last due to us relocating to another city. RMES is the best school she has ever attended, and we are really sad to be leaving the teachers, administration, community and friends behind. The teachers are always in training and taking courses, and they genuinely care about the students. The new principal, Amy Mitchell, is super sweet, caring, knowledgable, and well-loved by all of the students. The PTO is always doing fun things for the school, and raising money to help with education costs. I have absolutely no complaints about any of the staff members there, and it's been a blessing to be surrounded by people who care about your kid, and want them to do well. My daughter had Mrs. Maserang for two years in a row, and I was constantly blown away by her level of teaching. My daughter grew by leaps and bounds, and gained so much confidence under her care and guidance. Thank you, RMES, for everything you have done for us, and we are truly sad that our daughter will not be able to finish up elementary school there!!Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - Lava Ridge Intermediate School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a student who attends and it is terrible. They do nothing about bullying there is few teachers in the school that care about their kids and actually have fun. Every teacher except a few are misserable. They do nothing about racial/homophobic slurs. I have been called a racial or honophobic slur at least 100 times and thats an understatment. The school is not safe either. Kids will vape in the bathrooms, they will get jumped. There is also little mini gangs and constant drugs on campus. The other day i found 4 packs of zyns in the boys bathroom. Some teachers have no respect for their students but i wont name names. There was a stretch where one of my previous math teachers made me hate life and school so much i came home and complained about her for a month. Overall terrible school dont send your kids here and think they're safe. One more thing some students have had intercourse so keep that in mind. Dont send your kids here if you want them to be safe and actually have fun it will ruin their childhood.Student Review1mo ago13 Reviews - Check out schools near 2575 Chaco Trl #54.

"It is busy! St. George has more traffic on the main streets than it can handle. There are college students, tourists, commuters, retirees, bicyclists, and pedestrians, each in a hurry and competing for the same space. In addition, one doesn't have to go very far to find a busy construction project. "

"Lived here 11 years now, I love it. People complain about the traffic here but its no worse than any other city. Schools are plentiful and Take Out food is very diverse, you need to be aware that 100 degree day days are common for 10 months of the year but if you can handle that, its a great family city."
