6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageid like to start off with saying how i enjoy how people can be themselves here. however, it gets so out of hand. every curve you make in this school, someone will try to make you trans, gay, or just hate everyone. i understand the gay club is for those to feel welcomed, but instead it make those feel more empowered. if you aren't democratic in this school, you'll get shamed, framed for something stupid, and just lose people left and right. not to mention, the teaching??? my math teacher teaches more about his religious beliefs than math, and other teachers have threatened to turn classes into concepts due to students "not being smart enough." you cannot say that to a student with a learning brain, theyll think you're calling them beyond stupid. and as for teaching about religion as a math teacher, that's pure ignorance because it makes those who are not religious feel unwelcomed. the school really needs to do something about staff and students because i haven't seen one special needs kid speak to another student that isn't in their group. i also dislike how little diversity there is.Student Review6mo ago10 Reviews - Woodland Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNExA is such an incredible school. I think the poor rating is based mostly off of the socioeconomic status of the surrounding area. But the inclusivity at NExA is one of the many things that make it so great. This is a title 1 school and it’s one of the few schools that accommodate students with special needs. The staff and administration are all so caring and truly take the time to get to know every single student. NExA truly feels like a family to us. I’d also add that their focus on Project-Based-Learning makes them uniquely valuable to the community. As for the parking lot, follow the arrows and you’ll be fine.Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 2397 W Bastien Loop.

"If your dog is not social, it may be a bit overwhelming until your dog gets used to seeing people out walking their dogs…we came from Phx, not a lot of people out walking around. "

"Less than 7 minutes from my door to the office. It’s getting longer though with construction and more traffic. "

"Don't waste your time or money. The place is overpriced and trashy. People are not nice to outsiders. Old broken down leaky vehicles are the norm and as a result a lot of pollution. "

"Downtown CDA is a beautiful place. I love the local park. It’s very large and there is a beach there. My kids love. Downtown CDA has a lot of really cute shops and they do events downtown like oktoberfest. And they have cruises on the river such as the wine cruise or the north pole cruise to go see Santa. I took my kids on for the first time this year and they absolutely loved it."

"I don’t know much about public transportation in the area but driving around CDA is not bad. Only the commute from Spokane or other areas into CDA during dinner hours gets really bad traffic. I try to ovoid travel out of town during those times. "

"Safe neighborhood, I don't worry about going out at night. Mostly quiet, my two loudest noise complaints would be helicopters and ambulance sirens. That's to be expected living so close to the hospital though. "
