9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children (one currently a junior, the other a college freshman) received an excellent education at Ridgewood High School. The breadth of courses is impressive. The teachers really care about the students and are always available after hours at school or by email. Students are encouraged to participate in extra curricular activities, and there is truly a sport or activity for every interest. The staff and counselors are caring and work hard to promote a supportive learning environment.Parent Review11y ago8 Reviews - Benjamin Franklin Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school meets excellence in standards of education! The leadership at Somerville Elementary and the united team makes all the difference to put this school at the highest level. The vibe in this school is warm, supportive and nurturing, while having high expectations for social, emotional, behavioral and academic achievements. The expectations are clear and both staff and families in the school community all commit to these values and rise to high performance. I have lived in several different areas in the country and I have never seen such perfect balance for all aspects of child development and growth as I see at Somerville. It is the heart of the neighborhood and the teachings are contagious! Academically, Somerville provides a well rounded and enriched experience! Kudos to Somerville! Teachers, leadership, staff, parents, Home-School Association and of course the children! Keep making a difference and pushing forward!!!Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 500 E Ridgewood Ave #29.

"Public transportation is available. NJ transit train in downtown might have to change in Secaucus. Also express bus stop on RT 17 in town. If early commute then driving to manhattan without traffic 35 minutes to upper east side. If you hit the GWB after 6am that time can jump to 1hr+. Lots of options. "
