"I have lived here 28 years. Love the views, proximity to the lake & Palisades Market & the deer we see regularly. "

"We have lived here for 27 years. This neighborhood, especially the part between South Shore Blvd. and the lake is a garden paradise with lovely views of the lake from the neighborhood streets and many of the homes. It is quiet. We wake up to birds singing every morning. We eat breakfast on our deck surrounded by blooming rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, lilacs, flowering cherry and flowering dogwood. We can walk to a private dock at South Shore Glen Easement on the lake, which is a deeded lake/boat easement on the main part of Oswego Lake. The streets are safe to walk. People are out walking their dogs every day. The schools are superb. And we can walk or bike to one of the best markets in Lake Oswego, Palisades Market, to Starbucks, to two fitness centers, and to restaurants. As a gardener, I especially like that I can walk to a local nursery, just 4 blocks away. We have all the conveniences of living downtown, without the noise, the traffic, and the high density housing, and instead we have gorgeous homes on large lots, beautiful gardens and landscaping, specimen trees, proximity to the lake, and convenient access to everything that Lake Oswego and Portland, Oregon have to offer. "

"I have lived here for 27 years. I love our quiet culdesac, the beautiful tree lined streets that are filled with flowers in the spring, the lovely homes and views of the lake on neighborhood walks. The schools, Hallinan and Lakeridge, are excellent and the bus stops 1 block from our house. I love to bike and hike, and there are lovely trails that circumvent the lake close by. Our family has really enjoyed using the deeded lake easement at South Shore Glen Easement where we have a shared dock, boat slips, canoe racks, and picnic area right on the water, with lake swimming, diving, and boating. People in our neighborhood are often out walking their dogs and are always very friendly. I also love how close we are to Palisades Market, Starbucks, restaurants, two fitness centers and shops. You can easily walk or bike there from our home. My husband likes to golf and the Lake Oswego Public Golf Course is just 1 mile away. When our daughter was growing up she competed in equestrian events and it was very convenient to stable our horse at nearby Lake Oswego Hunt Club. I love to garden and it is so convenient to have Dennis Seven Dees nursery and garden center close by. The private gardens that you can view on neighborhood walks are simply stunning. The streets are safe and quiet. We have a very active neighborhood watch and an annual block party every year in the summer. "
