7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRacism is very normalize in our school. It’s sickening how many people of color deal with racism and barely say word about just because their “friends” are making a “joke”Staff would do something about it if they weren’t to harsh or harsh enough. Depending on the person, staff should treat them how bad their action were. As a black student in Jackson middle school, people nonstop make micro aggressive comments towards my community as a whole. For an example, a real experience that i dealt with this week is how expressing my feelings towards black history month is not necessary. If someone were to make a joke about a skin another minority would feel the need to say they wished they could say it to me/ can’t because of my skin tone. It’s disturbing how all people can see is skin, and not hold back. If your child is in the 7th and maybe up please do not come here. The racism is unreal and no child should experience that. Especially if your child is sensitive.Student Review3mo ago9 Reviews - Oxbow Creek Elementary School

"Quiet kid friendly neighborhood. There is wild life like deer and coyotes also, you have to be careful about leaving your doors open. I have my door open at night for 10 minutes and all got in but overall it’s a great neighborhood."

"National Night Out, is one of our community events. Where neighbors from the neighborhood come together to meet, greet, and eat! There are games for the kids, good tasting food, and fun. And the kids aren't the only ones having fun. The adults are mingling with one another, getting to know there neighbors and neighborhood. It's just a lovely time to get out and Mingle!"
