4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an excellent school with a great faculty and staff. I would say Pioneer has one of the best elementary school choirs in the state. In the sixth grade students have the opportunity to learn how to play guitar. The teachers collaborate well and that is seen in the friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in the building. The librarian is exceptional, she always has a different theme every year and really gets the kids to love and appreciate books. The administration and faculty are great with implementing school wide procedures, integrating the arts throughout the curriculum, and meeting the needs of the students. Parental involvement has also been great.Teacher Review15y ago1 Reviews - Orion Jr High School

"There is a lot of traffic. It doesn’t feel like they are planning the roads well enough to accommodate the increased housing communities. "

"My commute is very long. If you work in SLC, expect to spend at least an hour in the car each way. My daily drive is over 80 miles each way. My wife’s is over 50 each way. I-15 is always under construction and filled with drivers who are either late for something or just forgot they were even driving. It gets old. But if you work in the Ogden area or even out near Promontory, it’s not as bad. "

"I don’t ever attend community events, especially because I am working during the weekends. People have always seemed to keep to themselves and a little uppity. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood three years and barely know my neighbors first names. With the neighborhood being predominantly LDS it is hard to get to know people outside of the religion. Therefore harder to meet people in the neighborhood"
