2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of our children graduated from Granby HS in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and were accepted to their first choice college. The program is rigorous but the students are supported with caring and knowledgeable teachers. Their sports programs are fantastic and the kids get “play time”, unlike other large schools. The principal communicates weekly with all families and he is present at events outside of school hours. As an urban school, Granby matches the real world and taught our kids the importance of treating others with respect and not taking what you have for granted.Parent Review1mo ago17 Reviews - Lindenwood Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMany, many years ago, I taught kindergarten at Lindenwood. It was on of my very best teaching experiences! There was great parent evolvement there! Great community school! Yes, there were some behavior issues. You’ll find that anywhere. However, I had incarcerated parents, yet they absolutely adored their child! I had exhausted students because their new sibling slept in the same room. Oh, there were many more! However, we just rolled with it all, trying to meet the needs of every student on every level! The students wanted to learn! Over all students were well behaved. I’d go back in a heartbeat if I still lived there!Teacher Review3y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 2508 Middle Ave #1.

"Not a good neighborhood to raise a family. Not safe and kids are so grown and bad. Drug and crime infested. "

"This is a quiet neighborhood. Most neighbors are friendly but keep to themselves. I take my dog walking a lot and I have not had any problems. I have been living here for 13 yrs in my home and I like living here."

"Dangerous when I lived around this area. I Wouldn’t want to raise my family in this area. I wouldn’t advise walk this area alone or at night. Vacant homes and lake cause roof rats to be out at night and when it rained."
