2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this school isn’t horrible nor a dream, some people are nice and welcoming others not so much, many opportunities can come from this school like clubs, theatre, dance , band, orchestra, choir, Spanish, sports, career and college, general employment, etc. Fights tend to happen quite frequently but that’s how all schools are ever since this new principal people don’t physically fight as much, fewer skip and be late. Staff are usually fun and friendly but still serious at times, teachers are usually caring and supportive helping students pass and excel but, there is a chance that your student(s) will get a teacher who barely teaches as I noticed there’s one for every subject per grade . Overall this school is great I think my favorite staff/teachers would be Ms.drown for always helping me out and leading me to the answer and asking if I’m okay , and the librarian who is very kind and fun loving and shows how much she loves her jobs she’s always asking about my weekend and asking about my dad and if I have work to do and making sure I eat. Just beware not everyone’s experience is the same as mine but maybe yours or you Student(s) will be different.Student Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Tavola Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe idea that parents being unable to join their children for lunch at school is a "big support" is likely a misunderstanding. While some schools have policies restricting parent visits due to potential disruptions or other concerns, research actually suggests that family meals, including those shared with children at school, can be beneficial for children's development and well-beingParent Review9mo ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near Riverside Dr.

"New Caney has its safe places and it’s not so safe places. With a new development it has increasingly become more of a place that is safer rather than it used to be. New Caney has many different activities to do, but I will say that their schools may not be the best"

"We've lived in this neighborhood for 7 yrs and we love it. This is not the neighborhood for those that like cookie cutter style subdivisions with houses so close you can practically touch the next house from your window. Every house is unique, ranging from over $600k to as low as $75k, each with its' own unique style, whether it is awkward looking to traditional to beachy to contemporary or modern. Every house has at a minimum an acre or more, it is quiet, peaceful, like a getaway, yet close enough to the highway so quick access to everywhere else. The neighbors are all very nice, friendly, and don't twice about offering assistance. Seeing families walking, running, biking, rollerblading, golf carting, and ATVing throughout the day because it is safe. Whether passing in a car or on foot, everybody waves at each other. We are all racially diverse, every race and ethnicity represented, yet we are all the same that we like our community to remain small, our township government to stay small, and freedom to do what we want with our properties, whether it is to junk it up or keep it beautifully tighty. We want our "

"This is the greatest area closest to Houston for work! Traffic flow is great, even with construction on the 59/69 and Grand Parkway 99. I wouldn't live anywhere else...and I was born & raised in Houston, Tx off of Ella Blvd. & 610. I have seen it all! This area is the place to be!"

"I have lived in this area for 30 years and it DEFINATELY is not a poor area. There are sections in New Caney that are, however the Woodway Forest sub division is a great place to live. I have NEVER had any issues in this area and have NEVER been flooded. Just take a drive around the area and see for your self. You people shouldn't talk about what you don't know about! GIVE ME A BREAK!"
