6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot impress with this school. From the front office to the teachers. Some of the teachers could do a better job explaining assignments to students especially math. This school could take a lesson from Middle School East . Better front office staff and teachers. A MORE POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE !!!! So my suggestion go to EAST !!!!!Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Green Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely terrible, especially if you have a bipoc or disabled kid. Most of the staff is MAGA and act like it. They covered up a teacher saying the N word and let her keep her job and she stayed in the classroom with kids (the main teacher, principal and board said there was no rule about a white teacher saying the N word and she said it more than once at a field trip to me and another white parent thinking she was safe). They are very ableist and pretend that having a asd kid in the classroom is something they have to endure not learn about and update their teaching practices to expand knowledge of their learning base. I have pulled my son from this place but a friend also said how they had the “bad kids who didn’t earn a Holliday party” sitting in chairs in front of the room watching the other kids have a Holliday party. They do nothing about bullying or inappropriate touching. This place had trump supporting signs out front for weeks after the election with no care to the feeling of an unsafe environment towards their bipoc students. The special education teacher YELLED at a child walking to his car because the mother told him to go start the car while she zipped her other child’s coat, like didn’t even try to talk to the kid just yelled while the mother was right there. My kid has asd and was screaming for me to not make him go in their and he is NOT like that. Their psychologist for owls is absolutely horrible as well. Please save your kid if you can. (Shout out to the speech and math extra help teachers and ms Jordan though yall are amazing!)Parent Review3mo ago8 Reviews - L'anse Creuse High School - North

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 students currently attending here, my kids feel safe at this school, teachers communicate well with students and parents, the administration is okay they do better, there are some bullying issues that can use a better approach maybe some extra time spent talking to kids and motivating them to do better through different exercises. I feel that they don't dress code everyone the same way, some students can get away with wearing inappropriate clothing while others get dress coded which in my opinion is unfair, that could use some improvements. Other then that I feel that the high school offers alot of great opportunities in learning and offers a great variety of classes.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 37360-25 Mile Rd.

"I’ve lived here for 20 years and grew up here. People are friendly and it’s a Safe place to live, there are not any serious crimes even though it’s a good Size city now. The city has grown to have a good amount of shopping and many popular restaurants right down the street. It is closer to a nice outdoor mall when you need to go to other stores. Schools have been good while my children were there, they all attended Anchor Bay. There are also several close by colleges within commuting distance so you don’t have to pay for dorms. "

"It’s a subdivision but the county plows our streets and we have no HOA fees. We don’t have any street lights but 50% of the home owners keep there outside lights on."

"lots of families here so any kid growing up here would have no problem finding other children to be friends with. safe quiet community with quick access to the water and charming towns even if chesterfield itself is fairly bland boilerplate suburbia."

"No sidewalks leaves it hard to walk safely. Some homeowners use the underground fencing so their dogs are out front and run towards you barking which can be very frightening. "

"It’s a great place to live. The neighbors are super helpful and friendly. We have Saturday night card parties, cook outs and shared rides to events, such a dinner, bowling, etc. We help each other with snow removal. It’s just a super night community in which to live."

"My commute to work is very long. I work in Troy and I spend at least 2 hours in the car. The winter is the worst though. When it snows it's at least an hour and a half to two hour drive one way. I take 59 and the construction is terrible. Everywhere you go traffic is backed up because they are working in the roads. I would actually love to find a job closer to my home because we do like the area. "
