6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think if you are a ‘typical’ student you will do well here but if you are marginalized in any way whatsoever you will fall through the cracks and struggle. I have two students here and the amount of harassment verbal, sexual, physical, and even involving a gun is ridiculous. My girls were not believed by administrators and the one time action was taken it was short lived. Any time they have defended themselves however the school has been quick to threaten them with expulsion. I have brought up grievances against teachers that weren’t taken seriously and were blamed on ‘female histrionics’. I have been discouraged from attempting to get a 504 plan for one of my children who dearly needs it and she has been threatened in private by the vice principal even though I have been asked to be present numerous times. My younger children will not be attending here because I have no faith in the school to keep them safe or educate them properly.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Christiana Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHands down the worst school in Rutherford country with the worst administration and staff. Adults name call children and deny it, the favoritism is out of control, the clique with the adults is like high school, they will punish children 3-4 times for one offense, they blanket punish without looking into cause or details, they punish students based solely on other students reports with no adult present, all staff do not follow 504 plans, I could go on for days. I watched my well behaved kids who made decent grades slowly digress into having low confidence, poor grades, and emotional turmoil at this school. The principal does not listen to parents concerns. There is no “community”, parents are not invited to any type of class participation, holiday parties etc. You can’t walk your child to class on the first day of school, overall the environment there definitely pushes parents out. I’d give less stars if I could. I’ve lived in Rutherford co my entire life and I’ve never had as poor of an experience as I have had at CHMS. Do not send your child here if you can avoid it, please do.Parent Review5mo ago9 Reviews - Plainview Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think it would do the other person who posted a review good to ask questions and do research before making judgments. Test scores have done nothing but increase since the change in administration. Plainview is a reward school and a level 5 school, which is the best score any school can receive. No events have been cut, but some have changed to better serve families. I personally know the music teacher and I know that Veterans Day, for example, was changed to be more intimate and meaningful for the students and families involved. She said it was actually more work to do the breakfast in the cafeteria than years past, so calling that lazy is offensive at best. The rest of the school still did Veterans Day activities as well, but in the classroom where they can focus and learn better than in a whole-school assembly. Moral of the story: Ask questions before you make judgments. Plainview is the best school around. Kids are at the forefront of every decision made.Parent Review8mo ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 4430 Jack Faulk St #16.

"Nothing really. My neighborhood doesn’t have events. But it is filled with good people who look out for each other. My neighbors look after my house and mail while I’m on vacation and vice versa. "

"No sidewalks but many dog owners live in the neighborhood. Some of the main roads have cars driving a little fast but if you stay on the side streets, cars are more courteous. They will slow down and move over while you’re walking your dog. "

"The schools are beautiful and safe, close by and close together which is convenient if you have children in different grade levels. People are very friendly and easy going. I think crime is extremely low and emergency response is rapid. I think it's a great area for young families. "
