Mossy Head School, is possibly the best school I have seen. My daughter has been going for 3 years. Since Pre kindergarten. The teachers are very excited to teach. My daughter loves going to school every day. The school has rules, and the kids follow them! I never see kids running in the halls. Instead the following in lines! During pickup, not chaos like I expected instead the kids come out and sit patiently for parents to come get them. Sure they are talking and laughing and having a good time but there is structure. The school is also kind of hidden. Can't see from hwy 90.

"DeFuniak springs is over all a great place. granted it has its certain areas things could use some improvement on the schools are still on the smaller side I believe compared to other areas which I feel is better."

"While a quiet little town setting, town Needs to have sidewalks to rival south walton bike path. Too many people attempting to enjoy their surrounding have to walk on grass ditch or road."

"Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors only 6 houses on the street. Close to shopping less than 3 miles to all shops & dining. Small town Americana & only 30 miles to the beaches."

"This area is great, clean, and quiet. Neighbors are friendly and kind. The place is great for retirees or families with kids, fairly big front and back yard for kids or animals to play, back yard is fenced in around the area. "

"I live in Spring Lake Subdivision, and it's private, quiet, and very safe. We walk, fish, boat and have wonderful neighbors. The lake is beautiful and the area is well taken care of. No problems!!"
