West Allis Central is a great school. It is highly inclusive of all students. The leadership has changed in the last year and the culture of the school has improved greatly. The leadership is more responsive to students and families of color. My children and me feel much more like part of the community and that the Principal is there to listen and support us. Most teachers are working hard and effectively to support students increased learning. This is a school on the rise. Don't let the recent past keep you from selecting this school for your child. He or she will be cared for and challenged academically and to be of the highest character.

My daughter had a sudden change of school when we moved. The principal and the school staff are easy to communicate with. They personally make an effort to give students the guidance, encouragement and support they need. The building is well-maintained and I feel that it has a better learning environment than the school my child was originally supposed to go to. I believe West Milwaukee Intermediate turned out to be a better school for us.

Wonderful staff who is always trying their best! The new principal has great communication and is thoughtful in all she does.
