6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood morning,I would like to respectfully share a concern regarding the morning drop-off process at Coral Park High School.Traffic in the surrounding area is extremely heavy and often unpredictable, especially during peak hours and in inclement weather. Even when families plan ahead and leave early, there are situations where arriving exactly on time becomes very difficult. This morning, during rainy conditions, I arrived at approximately 7:19 AM and witnessed the gates being closed while several parents were still actively dropping off their children. Situations like this create unnecessary stress for both parents and students, and can also raise safety concerns when cars are forced to rush or adjust suddenly.I would like to suggest considering a small grace period—perhaps 3 to 5 minutes—before marking students as late. This type of flexibility would acknowledge real traffic conditions while still maintaining overall structure and accountability. The goal is not to encourage lateness, but to support students and families who are making a genuine effort to arrive on time under challenging circumstances.Thank you for your time and consideration. I truly appreciate the work the school does for our students and hope this suggestion can help improve the morning experience for everyone.Parent Review4mo ago45 Reviews - Charles R Hadley Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo the experience so far has been adequate for what you pay for which is saying something as this is a public school, so I only pay for the afterschool program. My only concern is that my son was diagnosed with ADHD and trying to get his IEP has been an absolute nightmare. For 1 year the school did not have a guidance counselor and we had started the process back at the end of 2024-2025 school year. We have just completed 2025-2026 and I'm still waiting for someone on his case to contact me to actually set up his IEP. This part is out of the school's hands but they also didn't deliver communication or the right support at the time. The communication between school and parent is not good. It not the worst but also not great. I don't know how else to describe it. Obviously, it's a government entity that is overworked and underpaid (that we know as a fact). However, the charter schools in Miami area get the part of that funding and now deliver private school results. The problem is that we need to also fund the public schools and though the teachers and principle are doing all the can, they are also at the mercy of the current administration, and budget and the results are that this school was an "A" when he started and has since dropped to a "B". And it shows....My son however likes his school and so I'm at a lost of what to do moving forward.Parent Review4w ago28 Reviews - Ruben Dario Middle School
